If you don’t qualify for Austin Water Utility's Dual Flush Toilet Rebate and still want to save money and water without buying a new toilet, I recommend installing a dual flush retrofit kit. Dual flush technology can save up to 18,000 gallons of water annually. That's the amount of water in a small swimming pool. This little device is installed at your commode tank which will enable you to have full or half flush capabilities, all with the push of a button. There are a number of products out there that work effectively. I recommend the Brondell PF100-W Perfect Flush or the Eco Flush Retro Fit Kit. Both products can be found at Amazon.com
